Assalamualaikum..
Untuk menunaikan permintaan email dari pembaca setia blog wazy84.com,pada kali ni saya akan tunjukkan satu tutorial yang tidak asing lagi bagi semua blogger yang menggunakan domain self-hosting iaitu Install WordPress Menggunakan Fantastico.Sebelum tu mari kita kenali apa itu Fantastico.
Fantastico ialah perisian yang mengandungi set skrip popular bagi membolehkan pengendali web memasang skrip-skrip berguna ke dalam tapak web dengan mudah. Dengan hanya beberapa klik, anda boleh menyediakan sebuah laman web lengkap seperti sistem pengurusan kandungan (CMS), sistem e-dagang, forum, galeri, dan lain-lain. Anda boleh memasang skrip-skrip ini seberapa banyak yang mungkin di dalam hosting selagi ruang storan mencukupi.
Kebanyakan pembekal hosting ada menyediakan fastastico dengan percuma dan ia boleh diakses melalui akaun cPanel.
Berikut adalah senarai skrip-skrip yang biasa terdapat dalam panel kawalan cPanel Fastastico:
Blog – b2evolution, Nucleus, pMaching Free, WordPress
Pengurusan Kandungan – Drupal, Geeklog, Joomla, Mambo, PHP-Nuke, phpWCMS, phpWebSite, Post-Nuke, Siteframe, TYPO3, Xoops
Sokongan Pelanggan – Crafty Syntax Live Help, Help Center Live, osTicket, PHP Support Tickets, Support Logic Helpdesk, Support Services Manager
Forum – phpBB2, SMF
E-Dagang – CubeCart, OS Commerce, Zen Cart
F.A.Q. – FAQ/MasterFlex
Buku Tetamu – ViPER Guestbook
Galeri Imej – 4Images Gallery, Coppermine Photo Gallery, Gallery
Mailing Lists – PHPlist
Survey – Advanced Poll, phpESP, PHPSurveyor
Wiki – TikiWiki, PhpWiki
Install WordPress Menggunakan Fantastico
Pertama sekali,login CPanel
1. Masukkan username
2. Masukkan password
Permukaan di CPanel
3. Cari Fantastico
Masuk ke Fantastico
4. Klik link wordpress yang tersedia pada menu navigation.
Halaman tentang wordpress akan terbuka dan anda akan melihat keterangan singkatnya.
5. Klik pada menu New Installation
Proses Install WordPress
Sekarang anda harus mendefinisikan konfigurasi untuk laman wordpress anda.
6. Install on domain : isikan dengan nama domain anda. biasanya fungsi ini telah terisi secara automatik.
7. Install in directori : kosongkan saja fungsi ini. jika anda mengisinya, maka proses instalasi akan berada pada directory yang anda isikan. sebagai contoh anda mengisinya dengan WP dan domain anda http://contoh.com, maka letak wordpress anda berada pada http://contoh.com/wp bukan pada http://contoh.com.
8. Admin accses data : isikan pada ruang pertama dengan username sesuai keinginan anda.
9. Ruangan kedua anda isikan password anda. catat username dan password yang anda gunakan. kerana username dan password inilah yang akan dipakai apabila anda hendak login ke blog wordpress anda nanti.
Untuk langkah 10 , 11 , 12 dan 13 Di bahagian Base configuration isikan dengan nama anda pada website anda, email untuk pemberitahuan ( secara default form ini telah terisi dengan email pada website anda, namun anda dapat menggantinya dengan email sah anda ),nama website, dan keterangan blog wordpress anda.
14. Jika kesemua maklumat yang sesuai dan anda benar-benar yakin, klik pada Install wordpress.
Gambar pada nombor 15 sehingga 17 seperti diatas adalah maklumat database beserta domain anda.
18. Setelah semua selesai sila klik Finish installation

Nombor 19 sehingga 22 menunjukkan maklumat data wp-config.php dan data.sql.
23. Masukkan email anda yang sah,langkah ini adalah untuk menyimpan maklumat seperti username,password serta database terus ke email anda.Ini adalah untuk rujukan pada masa akan datang dan juga untuk login blog wordpress anda nanti.
24. Setelah selesai ,klik Back to WordPress overview dan logout CPanel.
Blog worpress anda telah pun siap untuk digunakan.
paparan theme twenty eleven pada blog wordpress yang telah siap install menggunakan Fantastico.
Untuk login ke blog wordpress anda,sila taip url http://domainanda.com/wp-admin lalu isikan username dan password sesuai yang anda buat pada Fantastico tadi.
